3M™ 4714 is a medium-density, closed-cell vinyl foam tape designed for sealing, cushioning, and vibration dampening applications. It features 3M™ Adhesive 430, providing good quick stick along with excellent aging and UV resistance.
Its closed-cell construction allows it to seal out dust, light, and moisture when compressed, while maintaining flexibility under environmental exposure. Compared to the 4500 series, it offers a softer compression feel for improved conformability.
