Unlike standard Dual Lock fasteners, SJ4570 features a single stem density design with approximately 705 stems per square inch and is self-mating, meaning it attaches to itself rather than requiring a different mating pair.
It utilizes a clear acrylic adhesive (3M™ 300LSE) engineered to bond to a wide variety of substrates, including metals, glass, and low surface energy plastics such as polypropylene and polyethylene.
Its thinner construction—approximately half the thickness of standard Dual Lock—makes it ideal for applications where space, aesthetics, and a clean finish are critical.
