Avery Dennison® FBD 8393 is a double-coated polyester tape engineered specifically for foam bonding applications requiring different adhesive properties on each side. Featuring a foam bonding acrylic adhesive on the laminating side and a high-shear rubber adhesive on the mounting side, it delivers exceptional performance across a wide variety of foam and low surface energy materials.
As the next generation of FT 8392, FBD 8393 provides improved foam bonding capabilities and enhanced adhesion to a broader range of substrates. The differential adhesive system allows one side to bond aggressively to foams while the opposite side provides strong attachment to low surface energy surfaces and challenging materials.
Designed for automotive, appliance, and industrial manufacturing applications, FBD 8393 combines excellent die-cutting performance, dimensional stability, and long-term durability. Both adhesive systems contain a biocide to help inhibit mold growth in demanding environments.
